-Good introduction to mixed methodology using the theme of the Boston marathon to capture people's experiences (qualitative) along with numerical data (quantitative) post the blast incident. Method design principles were well broken down into bite-sized pieces to justify what makes mixed methods distinct. -Useful application to methods to health sciences research. Several different design terms were presented which might be useful to follow up. - Well design flowchart diagrams of research design. -Information about books as instruction guides of how to approach research. Some useful slides and "best practices" document. Good information about various qualitative research software like MaxGT, AtlastTi and NVivo.

Limitations:

Data was enriched by many sources but more examples would be insightful. History and motivation information could have been curbed with an already well-versed audience. More time could be spent on specific examples of design.
